His true spark came at 14 when his mother bought him FL Studio, igniting a passion for digital production and recording. By his freshman year of high school, he was dropping tracks that quickly circulated among his classmates, earning him the reputation of being one of the few students serious about music at the time.

Finding His Sound

By junior year, Wokkeen made a bold move: transitioning to cyber school, years before the COVID-19 pandemic, which freed him to chase music full-time. He began searching Pittsburgh for real studios and eventually crossed paths with producers and engineers at the legendary ID Labs. His determination paid off after graduation in 2020, when he secured an internship there, gaining industry-level experience and refining his craft.

During these years of grinding, he wiped his early high school releases and built a completely new catalog—filling two entire hard drives with unreleased tracks. Each piece marked another step toward finding his unique sound, a journey that led to the birth of glitchtrap.

Recent Milestones

This year, Wokkeen dropped his debut album, a project he considers one of his proudest accomplishments to date. It represents the culmination of years of experimenting, recording, and evolving as an artist.
