While some label his sound as “emo,” Carlos describes it best himself: “I just make music on how I feel. Telling my story type shii cuz ion even think my sound or style is entirely emo in itself.”


A Lifelong Passion

For many artists, the dream begins in their teenage years. For Carlos, the spark was there since childhood. He recalls wandering through the house as a little kid, freestyling to himself, only to hear his mother in the background telling him to quiet down. That youthful energy eventually led to his first recorded song back in 2016—a time when he was experimenting with lyrical styles inspired by artists like J. Cole. What started as playful rhymes has since evolved into a raw, emotion-driven outlet.

Though not yet a household name, BurnMyTroublesAway has stepped onto stages and continues to build his presence. “While I have performed places, I haven’t really performed anywhere with any notoriety,” he says, but that hasn’t slowed down his momentum.
